Great news for Amasco! An added bonus 🎉

<div>Dear difteurs,</div><br><div>The autumn workshops have just come to an end, and what a success! For two weeks, more than <strong>500 children</strong> took part in fun, learning workshops at <strong>33 sites</strong> across the Île-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Centre-Val de Loire regions. </div><br><div>With the support of over <strong>150 educational leaders, animators and teachers</strong>, the children explored captivating themes: </div><div>🔭 The first week<strong>:</strong>"<strong>the infinitely large and infinitely small</strong>" with games and activities to discover the mysteries of the universe and microscopic elements. </div><div>🌱 The second week: "<strong>Knowing and respecting the world around me</strong>" raising children's awareness of ecology and everyday gestures to preserve our planet. </div><br><div>We are proud to have been able to offer all these children an inclusive and stimulating space to <strong>develop their self-confidence, curiosity and pleasure in learning and thus fight against dropping out of school</strong>.</div><br><div>A big thank you to you for your precious support and donations! </div>

<div>After weeks of summer workshops rich in learning and discovery, children, teachers and animators will be heading back to school! 🎒 </div><div> </div><div>That's why the Amasco association aims to promote values of inclusion, solidarity, cooperation and commitment through its educational workshops, particularly during the school vacations. This is a key period for children's development and for reducing inequalities. Our aim is to offer all children equal access to quality education and enriching cultural activities. This will help stimulate their motivation to learn, an important factor in academic success. </div><div> </div><div>In addition, Amasco is dedicated to training teachers and animators in active pedagogies. Present in Île-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and Centre-Val de Loire, the association welcomes nearly 2,000 children each year, reinforcing its educational and social impact. </div><div> </div><div>The whole Amasco team wishes children, teachers, animators and partners✨</div> a happy back-to-school.

🌟Les Ateliers Amasco wish you all the best for the new school year!🌟

<div>Friday August 23 marked the end of our four weeks of summer workshops across three regions. With over 900 participants, these workshops were a great success with the children!" </div><div> </div><div>The last week, the theme "Water/Ocean: Blue Gold or Big Blue", was a particular hit with the kids. Zoom in on our Orleans La Source site, where the Pop-Up workshop was one of the flagship activities. </div><div> </div><div>The children explored the theme of oceans by creating pop-up cards, developing essential skills: creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving, and social and emotional skills. </div><div> </div><div>The workshop began with an interactive discussion, where the children shared their knowledge of oceans, marine animals, and personal experiences. This stimulated their curiosity and prepared them for the creative activity. </div><div> </div><div>They then chose a marine element to highlight, such as fish, turtles or coral, which they drew on colored paper. Using the templates provided, they created a pop-up mechanism to bring their drawings to life in 3D. The whole was completed by a marine décor for total immersion. </div><div> </div><div>Each child then presented their pop-up card, explaining their choice. This moment of sharing highlighted their creativity and commitment, and everyone was warmly congratulated on their work. </div><div> </div><div>We loved organizing and working on these Summer 2024 workshops. It was a great way for families to discover or re-discover our missions and values.</div>

The end of our 2024 summer workshops!

<div>During the third week of summer workshops, we had the pleasure of visiting our Louis Lumière site, located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. A visit rich in learning and exchanges. </div><div> </div><div>We'd like to thank our loyal partner, Entraide Scolaire Amicale, with whom we've been collaborating for 4 years now for children's success and educational continuity. Together, we support over 200 children a year in our 3 regions. 📚 </div><div>This enables us to offer real educational continuity to children with the mentoring of Entraide Scolaire Amicale during the school term and the fun and educational vacations of Ateliers Amasco. </div><div> </div><div>Each year, Entraide Scolaire Amicale mentors over 5,000 children and young people throughout France thanks to the commitment of its home-based volunteers. </div><div> </div><div>This cooperation not only strengthens the cohesion of our team, but also helps us to advance our mission on a daily basis. </div><div> </div><div>A big well done to our educational team for their dedication and dynamism throughout this week of workshops. 🙌 </div><div> </div><div>👏 Special thanks to Marianne Ferron, Emmanuelle Lartigue from Entraide Scolaire Amicale and Fousya EL HOSSINE, our workshop leader, for their outstanding work.</div>

<div>It's already been three weeks since the summer workshops began! </div><div> </div><div>In the second week, under the theme "Creating games: the heroes of the game", one of the flagship activities was "meditation and drawing emotions". At Amasco Workshops, we encourage the expression of emotions through drawing or writing. </div><div> </div><div>This activity was aimed at becoming aware of one's emotions, learning to manage them and encouraging their expression through drawing and/or writing. </div><div> </div><div>To begin, the children are invited to sit or lie down comfortably. They are asked to close their eyes. Through a simple meditation, guided by a gentle, soothing voice, they can refocus on their emotions. Then, on opening their eyes, they are given blank sheets of paper and colored pencils and markers to express their emotions and feelings through drawing. </div><div> </div><div>At the end of the exercise, children can, if they wish, share what they have created. Focus on the 2nd week of workshops

<div>It's already been three weeks since the start of the summer workshops! </div><div> </div><div>In the first week, under the theme "Olympics/Sport: All Champions", one of the flagship activities was "morpion relay". At Amasco Workshops, we encourage the development of team spirit and the expression of emotions through physical activities. </div><div> </div><div>This activity involved being the first of two teams to line up 3 scarves of the same color horizontally, vertically or diagonally. </div><div> </div><div>To begin, the two teams stand in single file. In turn, each child places his or her colored scarf in a square. On their way back, they clap their teammate's hand so that he or she can leave to drop off their scarf in turn. Children can choose to build a line or block their opponents'. Focus on the first week of workshops!

<div>After weeks of work, preparation and organization, we're delighted to announce the launch of our summer workshops!" </div><div>The workshops will run from July 8 to August 23. For four weeks, children will be able to develop and learn around four exciting themes: </div><div> </div><div>
<strong>🏅 JO/Sport</strong> - Tous champions : Discover sportsmanship and the importance of physical activity. </div><div> </div><div>
<strong>🎲 Game creation</strong> - Game heroes: Children will dive into the world of games by becoming creators. </div><div> </div><div>
<strong>🍏 Healthy eating</strong> - From Fork to Fork: Learning the basics of a balanced diet while having fun!" </div><div> </div><div>
<strong>🌊 Water/ocean</strong> - Big blue or blue gold? : Conquering the wonders and challenges of water and the oceans. </div><div> </div><div>Around 1,000 children are expected to attend over 50 weeks of workshops. They will take place at over 40 sites in Ile-de-France, Centre Val de Loire and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. It's a unique opportunity for children to develop the 3 key skills we're looking for: a desire to learn, self-confidence and a spirit of cooperation. <br><br>A huge thank you to all our partners for standing by us in this great adventure! 🌟 3, 2, 1 here we go! 🌟

<div>Before the workshops, our offices are a buzzing beehive. <br>The better the workshops are prepared, the better they'll run! In concrete terms, there's no respite, no boredom, every day a new challenge!<br><br>It's no later than one month before the start of the workshops that the main ingredients must be in place: an optimal venue, a recruited and trained supervisory team, and loyal local partners! <br><br>To this end, before each workshop period, we contact all our host partners. We validate with them our dates of intervention and the conditions of reception. We work with them to refine our communication and registration strategy. We then hold enrolment sessions to publicize the workshops, and contact our local partners (social centers, schools, Programme de Réussite Educative, Entraide Scolaire Amicale, Samu Social de Paris, etc.) who support the children on a daily basis. Word-of-mouth is always a great communication tool! <br><br>Finally, we prepare all the teaching materials needed for the activities. Collecting materials, ordering and purchasing, the treasure hunt is on to put together our precious trunks and deliver them to all sites on time. <br><br>Monday morning... the long-awaited moment, the supervisory team gets together ahead of the opening, prepares the room and welcomes the children. The week can begin! <br><br>The in-house team stays in touch and supports the teams throughout the week, and travels to the sites for visits with our various partners. </div>

Focus on the preparation of our summer workshops PT.1

<div>Dear Captains, <br><br>It's time to take stock of our Spring 2024 workshops. </div><div> </div><div>From April 8 to May 3, our spring workshops took place in 24 towns across our 3 regions. Over 660 children took part, having fun around two common themes: "Tous en forme" and "Rêvons demain". These themes were an opportunity to offer games, stimulating learning and enriching encounters marked by sharing, listening and joy. </div><div> </div><div>During these workshops, we had the honor of welcoming, for a day, the head of the education network of Vers le Haut, France's leading think tank dedicated to education. A Shared Victory: Amasco wins the Tenzing Equal Opportunity Award!

<div>At the heart of this winter, our workshops resounded with laughter and discovery, brightening the days of nearly 700 children across France. </div><div>With passion and commitment, our teaching teams sought to discover talents and awaken desires in all these children. </div><div> </div><div>Our themes, "Journey around the world" and "Pitch solidaire", were the canvases on which unforgettable moments were woven. From the Ile-de-France region, through the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and on to Centre-Val de Loire, each workshop was a stage in the development of savoir-être and savoir-apprendre, as a collective. </div><div>This winter will remain engraved in our memories as a season of sharing, discovery and inspiration. </div><div> </div><div>We would like to express our thanks to Captain Cause, CJM Conseil and Nouus for their invaluable support in bringing these winter workshops to life. </div>

A wave of warm news

<div>The Autumn 2023 workshops were an enriching and collaborative experience, bringing together passionate and creative children. During these 15 days of workshops, the children were able to acquire new skills, share their knowledge and forge links with each other. </div><div>The themes "In action for the planet" and "We're leading the investigation" added a special dimension to these workshops, encouraging the children to explore innovative solutions for the planet and their artistic creativity. The positive feedback highlights the effectiveness of the facilitators in developing the children's skills and personal growth. </div><div>We would like to express our gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of these workshops.  </div>
