Thanks to your support, our field teams are present every day in schools in Marseille's priority neighborhoods to accompany PlanVue students from A to Z - until they have their glasses on their noses 👓

Our commitment: a care pathway with no out-of-pocket expenses. Because on average, 60% of the families we support do not benefit from full coverage at the ophthalmologist, and/or 100% Health at the optician.

Beyond the financial obstacles, PlanVue also removes the psychological and logistical barriers that too often keep families away from healthcare. Our ambition: to make every family fully autonomous in the face of the visual health journey.

Over the year 2024-2025 we expanded PlanVue's impact from 6,000 to 11,000 beneficiaries. We have extended our action to Marseille, where the needs are crying out. In fact, 41% of students screened needed a complementary examination by an ophthalmologist.

✨Since February 2025, Helen Keller Europe has been working in Marseille through the PlanVue program to raise awareness of, prevent and correct visual disorders in schoolchildren, with no out-of-pocket expenses.

In Marseille, 30% of the population live in priority neighborhoods, these territories have nearly 6 times fewer ophthalmologists than elsewhere.
👓 A real brake on access to visual care and learning when we know that 80% of learning involves sight, and that wearing glasses can reduce the risk of dropping out of school by 44%.

6 years of actions to improve the eyesight of pupils from priority neighborhoods.

6 years of actions aimed at boosting pupils' learning abilities by reducing the difficulties at school that stem from poor visual health.
