Support THE solution to medical deserts! 🚀
The project
HealthEquality
Médecins Solidaires is a very simple idea. Since it seems impossible to ask a lot from a few doctors, we're asking...a little from a lot! In practical terms, we're offering GPs the chance to give up a week of their time to take turns in fully-equipped health centers in areas lacking access to healthcare. Thanks to this relay service provided by our 1,000 doctors, we have already re-established permanent access to healthcare in 13 villages!

Solution
Médecins Solidaires offers a turnkey model: every week, in each of our health centers, a doctor takes over from the previous one. Their sole mission? To treat patients. Accommodation, transport and administrative paperwork are taken care of by the association. The inhabitants of these areas, who sometimes haven't seen a doctor for several years, now have access to long-term medical care, provided by our health centers, which become their primary care physicians.
Use of the money
The donations collected will help finance the development of our new online Physicians' Area, a key tool that enables our doctors to easily schedule their next weeks of commitment and gives us a global view of our schedule and its optimal organization. These donations therefore support the association's growth more broadly, enabling us to restore access to primary care for people living in these medical deserts on a long-term basis.

With a fever of over 39, I was seen the same day. The coordinators are lovely, and the doctor was attentive and caring. This health center is a brilliant concept. A big thank you to the creator who has found the solution for medical deserts. Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️
