Renewing student computer workstations at 42 Lyon

Thanks to you 👏

100%days of tuition for students

The project
EducationInclusion
The project aims to finance the renewal of our computer workstations. With 700 students and an ageing computer stock, high-performance computers are essential for learning and preparing for a future in technology. Many of our students have had a difficult career, or have experienced precariousness or self-censorship at school. Offering them an equipped and accessible working environment gives them a real chance to bounce back. Every donation, however modest, has a tangible impact.

Solution
Our solution: gradually renew 42 Lyon's IT equipment by purchasing the latest workstations, adapted to projects in development, data, AI and cybersecurity. A 100% free school, 42 Lyon also provides all hardware, to put all students on an equal footing and prepare them as well as possible for their future jobs in tech.
Use of the money
Donations will be used exclusively for the purchase and commissioning of new computer workstations (CPUs, screens, peripherals).
Each €2,000 finances a complete workstation, used for 5 to 10 years by hundreds of students; €5 already covers one day's tuition on this equipment.

"At 42 Lyon, the door is really open to everyone. Where other schools turned me down, 42 accepted me, gave me a framework and a real chance to build a future in tech. Here, what counts is motivation and the desire to work, not your previous career path."
